I can’t watch Netflix… Who is responsible for HDCP?

HDCP stands for High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection. This is the reason I can’t watch Netflix on my TV streaming from my mac through my Apple TV since I lost my Apple TV remote. If you ever get Netflix Playback Error S7363-1266-48444350 this is the reason why.

So who is to blame for this unfortunate kink in your movie night? Believe it or not… Intel Corporation. This is their lovely doing. This is to prevent copying of content across digital connections. It also stops me and my family from watching netflix on our TV. B.S. if you ask me… I’m not trying to copy anything, I’m just trying to use my paid subscription and watch TV. Not tonight.. So pack up the popcorn and turn off the TV. No netflix tonight.
