Star Wars ASCII
Forget paying big bucks at the theater to see the latest Star Wars flick. You can watch this one for free from the comfort of your uncomfortable computer chair. If you own a mac or linux computer launch the terminal app/program. For mac users simply click the magnifying glass or “Spotlight” at the top right hand corner and type in terminal and hit enter. after you launch terminal simply type in “telnet” (without the quotes of course) and Star Wars Episode IV, A New Hope will begin. It’s animated in ASCII which stands for American Standard Code for Information Interchange. This was composed by a Brilliant Unix/Linux Systems Administrator with perhaps a little too much time on his hands. If you’d like to learn more about this Dutch Unix mastermind visit his website here. Enjoy ?
